I created Policy Together to share innovative and inclusive policy ideas that centre communities and support our collective well-being.

Public policy is a great tool to help us envision and manifest the world that we want to live in. My commitment is to use public policy as a pathway to serve and support communities.

My name is Kimberly Nesbeth and I’m an equity- and human rights-focused policy advisor and social entrepreneur. I was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica to a family of African and Indian ancestry, and grew up in neighbourhoods across Toronto. I’ve worked with a range of organizations, and in 2018 I founded Elevate Policy, an initiative that aims to connect people, groups, and organizations with the policy process. I specialize in anti-racism policy analysis and I develop tools to help bring anti-racism and policy together in ways that support equitable outcomes.

Policy Together is a space where ideas and knowledge are shared as a part of our collective policy discussion. I envision this growing into a multimedia space that creates innovative channels for policy engagement. You can read more about my vision for Policy Together here.
